COUNSELLING WITH ARIANA IN EDINBURGH

Ariana Pedzikowska BACP accredited counsellor and trauma therapist London

Sometimes the distance between how you present to the world and how things actually feel inside becomes its own kind of exhaustion. You’ve built a life that looks considered and capable from the outside and yet in your closest relationships, something older keeps quietly pulling the strings.

I work with adults across Edinburgh and throughout Scotland, including Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling, Perth and Inverness. Sessions are fully online, which means wherever you are in Scotland, geography is never a barrier to getting the right support.

My work sits at the intersection of trauma and relationships. Relationship anxiety, people pleasing, fear of abandonment, attachment difficulties, codependency and the childhood trauma or difficult life experiences that often sit quietly beneath them. These aren’t labels to pin on yourself. They’re ways of beginning to understand why certain patterns keep repeating, and what it might take to shift them.

You don’t need clarity before reaching out.  What matters is that something has brought you here and that’s enough to begin.

Can I see a specialist trauma therapist in Edinburgh online? Yes. All sessions are conducted online via a secure video platform, accessible from anywhere across Edinburgh.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy for trauma? Research consistently suggests that online therapy is equally effective for most presentations, including trauma. The therapeutic relationship, which is central to this work, translates fully to an online setting.
