COUNSELLING WITH ARIANA IN LEEDS

There’s often a gap between how capable you appear to the world and how things actually feel on the inside. Holding it together at work, showing up for everyone around you, while something quieter, something older, keeps surfacing in your closest relationships.
I work with adults across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region, including Bradford, Sheffield, York, Hull and Harrogate. I also work with clients further afield across the North East, including Middlesbrough and Newcastle. Sessions are fully online, so wherever you are across this region, we can work together without travel being a barrier.
My work focuses on trauma and relationships, specifically the ways that earlier experiences often shape how we feel about ourselves and how we show up with other people. Relationship anxiety, people pleasing, fear of abandonment, attachment difficulties, codependency, childhood trauma, relational trauma. If any of this resonates, it’s worth exploring.
Leeds is a city that moves quickly, professionally ambitious, outward facing. Sometimes the internal work can get deferred because there simply doesn’t feel like space for it. Online therapy makes that space easier to find, fitting around work, family and the pace of a full life.
You don’t need a clear sense of what you want from therapy before reaching out. Many people arrive uncertain. Something has brought you here, and that’s enough to begin.
Can I see a trauma therapist in Leeds online? Yes. All sessions are conducted online via a secure video platform, accessible from anywhere across Leeds and Yorkshire.
What is the difference between trauma counselling and trauma therapy? The terms are often used interchangeably. Both involve working through the impact of difficult experiences in a supported, confidential relationship. As a BACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, I draw on multiple approaches depending on what each individual needs.
You can find out more about my approach on the homepage.
