COUNSELLING WITH ARIANA IN LONDON

Ariana Pedzikowska BACP accredited counsellor and trauma therapist London

London moves fast. And for a lot of people, keeping pace with it means getting very good at holding things together on the outside, while something quieter, something older, keeps pulling at them from within.

You might be functioning well by most measures. Performing at work, showing up for the people around you, maintaining the version of yourself that others have come to rely on.

And yet in your closest relationships, the same patterns keep surfacing. The anxiety that arrives without warning. The tendency to put everyone else first. The fear of saying the wrong thing, needing too much, or not being enough.

These patterns rarely begin in adulthood. They often form earlier, in the relationships and environments that first taught us how safe it is to be ourselves, how much we can ask for, and what love is supposed to feel like. Childhood trauma, relational trauma, difficult family dynamics, these experiences leave a mark that no amount of self-awareness alone can fully shift.

This is the work I do.

I work with adults across London, from Islington, Stoke Newington and Hackney in the north, to Clapham, Brixton and Dulwich in the south. From Notting Hill and Chiswick in the west, to Clerkenwell, Marylebone and Fitzrovia in the centre. Sessions are online, which means wherever you are across the city, there’s no commute, no waiting room, or disruption to your day.

Many of my London clients are professionals navigating the particular pressures of city life, the pace, the performance, the relationships that quietly drain them.

Some come to therapy during working hours, fitting a lunchtime session around meetings in Clerkenwell or Fitzrovia. Others work from home in Clapham or Chiswick and prefer mornings or evenings when the day feels quieter. Online therapy makes that flexibility possible.

My work specialises in  relationship anxiety, people pleasing, fear of abandonment, attachment difficulties, codependency and the relational and childhood trauma that so often underpins them.

If you’ve spent years trying to understand why relationships feel the way they do, or why you keep responding in ways that don’t feel entirely like you, this is where that begins to make sense.

You don’t need to arrive with clarity or the right words. Many people don’t. Something has brought you here, and that’s enough to begin.

Can I see a trauma therapist in London online? Yes. All sessions are conducted via a secure video platform, accessible from anywhere across London, whether you’re in Islington, Hackney, Clapham, Notting Hill or anywhere else in the city. Online therapy is equally effective for trauma work and allows you to access specialist support without the constraints of commute.
